HATS ON FOR SCHOOL CHOICE

Posted February 7, 2014.

Heritage Academy recently celebrated National School Choice week with a parade of hats.  The theme was "Hats on for School Choice", and students decorated their hats with school supplies to show what school choice means to them.

Each class proudly paraded their creations around the sanctuary during our chapel service. One winner was chosen from each class and was awarded a "No Uniform Pass".

All of the class winners went on stage, and the students held a final vote for the overall best hat. The winner was 6th grade student, Charles Jackson III. He received $20, a candy bar, and a stuffed animal.

Thank you to all of the students and staff who participated. You all did an excellent job, and it was great fun.
